Excellent idea.I will put in some of the high toxicity Middle East threads later. Basically, "where there is Errrb, so too is it toxic!"Wonder if toxicity and humor could also be defined rather than just low-high scale though.Like R-rated movies, the prospective viewer is told why it received the rating: profanity, violence, extreme violence, nudity, and so on...

thread name: Swiss Voters Accept Ban On Minaretsgenre: political, religious, legal and ethnic newstoxicity level: highhumour: low to high, depending on your mood and comedic tastesReviewer notes: This thread contains exceptionally crude and racist humor, profanity, threats of violence, and a hint of deviant sexual situations. Ironically, it also contains lengthy and thoughtful discussion of the key issues suggested by the title. Ample inter-poster bashing, to good effect.OP: ErrrbRated: R+

QuoteOriginally posted by: ppauperat the moment the order in this meta-thread is pretty much randomIt would be very time-consuming to sort by title, alphabetically. And we are not posting hot links, so people will have to do some work for themselves. (Might be a dealbreaker in itself around here...)The reviews could be fun though and if they are engaging, that will drive some of the traffic in the right (or wrong) directions! I would very much enjoy hearing what you and daveangel have to say about the content on some of the older, longer threads, for example. Not full-blown op-ed pieces, mind you, just a few pithy comments - mini-reviews.I will supply a few more entries on some of the OT classics over the next few days and perhaps speculation on some of the newer threads - though in those cases, it's just too soon to tell.
