It reminds me of a few French indusry moguls. Ma che?
At least they don't try to paint it green. Italy runs on Middle Eastern oil, doesn't it?

At the time those Etruscan symbols made a bigger impression.

Here's an amusing use case for electric vehicles, esp. as the electric grid becomes more unreliable: power your house!

Seems like throwing good money at bad. Still, maybe in Texas? Playing on fear? in a storm or a heatwave??

. in heatwave, turn on solar
. in storm, mr. Miyagi say kiss ass goodbye.

BTW what does that guy in foto want to do with the chainsaw?

Good eye on the chainsaw.  A good use case, which they may actually be targeting with the chainsaw pic, is California homes in the foothills. There, the electric utility will shut off the power during windy days during the fire season because live ancient utility infrastructure (transmission lines) will fall down and spark wildfires. These are, in utility bureaucracy-speak, "public safety power shutoffs".  If my guess is right ... the guy will be clearing brush from his property, another fire season mitigation.

Luckily, I am on a coastal plot that is extremely unlikely to be a target for a PSPS. Fires in Malibu and Laguna beach will burn down to the ocean. Suspect their infrastructure is not so bad, though. So, foothill dwellers get the worst of it.

Very cool.  Congratulations on that.

My sister and her husband both have Jeeps and *love* them.

There is a nice community around too - a lot of Do-It-Yourselfers.

With that and super long road trips in mind - you might like this book.  I've had Haynes or Chilton's Manuals for all of my vehicles over the years and very good to know a few things - right down to being able to take it all apart if you really get into automotive mechanics as a hobby of sorts.

Very tough world out there these days, but safe and inspiring travels to you. Spring is almost here. : )
