RAM?It's a Magnetic Card! They were used in HP-65, HP-67, HP-97, and HP-41 series calculators. Each card held 224 instructions plus some machine state data. The calculator had a motorized card reader that would pull the card through for read/writer operations.

I did see that post: I had misread it as "International Day of Peas" (probably because of your commodities background?), and that made me LOL LOL Actually I used to build trading strategies for French cash peas markets in the old days ...
