Personally, places in Donegal such as Aran, Muff and Tory are better because of many water sports to choose from.

Muff and water sports should only sparingly be used in the same sentence.

I've heard it spreads via contaminated French (a.k.a. not vegan) food, so not me for sure.

BTW, when I was a child I watched an excellent epoque drama about English royals who escaped to Franch Versaille (Stuarts?). The main source of animosities were differences between English and French sense of humour. I wish I could remember the title...

I was reading fragments to my colleagues to explain the problem of forecasting without using mathematics, e.g.:
"We have no future because our present is too volatile. We have only risk management. The spinning of the given moment's scenarios. Pattern recognition."
or
"The future is there, looking back at us. Trying to make sense of the fiction we will have become."
