yes, we don't want to go there.

Personally, places in Donegal such as Aran, Muff and Tory are better because of many water sports to choose from.
They sought it with thimbles, they sought it with care; They pursued it with forks and hope; They threatened its life with a railway-share; They charmed it with smiles and soap.

Couple inundated with applications for Blasket Islands jobs

An advert for two summer jobs on the Great Blasket Island has attracted a staggering 23,000 applications.
They sought it with thimbles, they sought it with care; They pursued it with forks and hope; They threatened its life with a railway-share; They charmed it with smiles and soap.

Muff and water sports should only sparingly be used in the same sentence.

They also have a Gaelic football club as well in Muff.

Oddly, diving wasn't even on the list of activities that came to mind. We can probably blame that on Trump...

I've heard it spreads via contaminated French (a.k.a. not vegan) food, so not me for sure.

BTW, when I was a child I watched an excellent epoque drama about English royals who escaped to Franch Versaille (Stuarts?). The main source of animosities were differences between English and French sense of humour. I wish I could remember the title...

I did see a lovely picture of katastrofa pass through my LinkedIn feed this week (not posted by her) - holding a copy of my favorite William Gibson book!

Thank you! :-D
I was reading fragments to my colleagues to explain the problem of forecasting without using mathematics, e.g.:
"We have no future because our present is too volatile. We have only risk management. The spinning of the given moment's scenarios. Pattern recognition."
or
"The future is there, looking back at us. Trying to make sense of the fiction we will have become."
