I remember this show! 
Bill Graham (famous Bay area concert promoter) used to put on various "Days on the Green" festivals at Oakland stadium.
I see the ticket price was $11 -- price of a beer at, say, Coachella fest nowdays.  :D

My claim to fame was getting Phil Lynott and Gary Moore to play at our school gig in 1969. Half of the class wanted Big Tom...Still, good for the slow dancing.

(I was also thinking of Van Morrison (a wee cantankerous man from Protestant East Belfast wnere my grandfather was born) and Rory Gallagher but he was too hard--core). Phillo was the hero.,

Oh yes, I got VIP tickets for a Corrs concert in Wembley Arena (from Andrea..) My mum used to teach one of them. Now, there :D ::D
