It’s like religion. There are believers and there are atheists. There used to be Church of England.
I think I've met some, but they are indeed mirlos blancos / rarity. Their distance to politics comes with a mellow realisation of a deeper problem with the society, political factions being merely its different emanations. It manifests itself with occasional sighs and nodding head.
I'm afraid of people who "hate Trump". They possibly looked into the abyss for too long. Political leaders like him are the sum of our all evil, imho. Following politics is a good intellectual exercise on what and how went wrong for trumps to happen, what needs to be changed and what new abominations it may bring. But it's often too complicated and esoteric to share with other people, and I appreciate if others spare me the effort of understanding their opinions.
