A journey of a 1000 miles begins with the first step.

Eliud Kipchoge and Brigid Kosgei Win Tokyo Marathon

Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya, the greatest marathoner of all time, added another title to his long list of accolades, winning the Tokyo Marathon in 2:02:40. (...) He ran the third-fastest marathon of his life—and the fourth-fastest of all time.

(..) The women’s race was equally impressive. World record holder Brigid Kosgei, 28, of Kenya won in 2:16:02, the third-fastest marathon of all time.

Holly Molly! runners went down the wrong road
(The truck shows a sign "Tokyo Marathon 2021", as the race that was run overnight was the 2021 edition postponed due to covid)

I have talked to several friends in the past months about my issue of reduced Vo2 Max as compared to before covid (and after getting it by it at least twice) as well as my lower heartbeat a I run (all things being equal about 20ppm slower), and several have told me they are going through the same issue. Other have told me they heard about it. Is it really bad? Shall I let it like it is?
