Blinking and winking are not the same! Inviting someone to your cave while blinking will have a different result from inviting plus winking.

Blinking, winking, and what else? People overcomplicate things.

If blinking doesn't work, try "you... me... my cave or your cave?".
A better one is "what do you think of the monolog interior in Joyce's Ulysses?" It's an eye-opener. If that doesn't work, try the Virginia Woolf gambit.

If you look like Warren Buffet, nothing is going to work.

Nah, I like them raw - STFU and what you can do best. But then again, I'm a sample of one.
Sorry. I broke stream of consciousness?

Of subconsciousness - that's what every woman and every fat feminist really want, even if they don't realise it (I know what I'm saying, because I'm both). I suggest men reading this should follow the suggested method and report outcomes to us. We will use the data to optimise the technique. Trust me, I'm a statistician.

Heard on my way home: "We know what the market is doing now. It's bifurcating." :-)

How did it go? "To know is to know that you know nothing"?

Seven essential pieces of advice for young musicians (by Simon Rattle)

"There are very few professions in which people get to know each other so profoundly. You can get to know very deep things about people without even necessarily knowing their names – let alone what their lives are like. You're often dealing with these difficult, profound, intense truths. You can know a lot of deeply important things about people without knowing any of the normal, trivial things about them."

I hold a grudge against a few musicians and composers, because their music (even the most exquisite one) makes me feel that they are not persons I could respect or like, e.g. Mahler or practically all American conductors. When I think of my greatest love, it's Maurizio Pollini.
Do you also have it?

Physicist pick-up lines are so boring (and risky!). You have another degree to offer, e.g. "Do you like flowers? How about putting my tulips on your tulips?"

Risky or risqué? Not that they are mutually exclusive...

it was not a pick up line, I think it was a polite and political correct question for sampling data to check acceptable boundary conditions

\(R_s\leq 7.82663\times 10^{-26} \mbox{ m}\) or \(R_s\leq 9.7573\times 10^{-26} \mbox{ m}\) ?, I forgot the recommended limits that the Professor told about.
