Great minds think alike, and if you ask each of them, they will certainly confirm that they are great minds. No p-values needed. And Nassim still clings to his belief that statistics is another word for Gaussian and that things like extreme value theory just don’t exist, and certainly would have nothing to do with statistics.

I agree with him that a p-value should be taught in a different way to avoid misconceptions. It's a random variable and its empirical distributions should be analysed in hypothesis testing. (I prefer using confidence intervals anway.)
