Just when you think he can't say anything more provocative, outlandish and just plain stupid than he already has served up, he does it again!
evidently, bearish is not a fan of the Second Amendment and the gun lobby
"Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment," Trump said to the crowd of supporters gathered in the Trask Coliseum at North Carolina University in Wilmington. "If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.
"Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don't know."
Despite bearish's misgivings, I hope that Trump is correct and the gun rights lobby will be able to derail the senate confirmation of any anti-Second Amendment justices named by Hillary. Maybe a filibuster if they can get 40 senators to go along
Nice try.

He's going to quit before the election.

Not to mention asking Vladimir to spy on Hillary's emails. Is that almost akin to treason?

He said he was being "sarcastic" on that one. He should have said his Hillary assassination allusion comment was a "bad joke" (as Paul Ryan called it) and apologized. Instead, his campaign tried to spin it into nonsense, like ppauper's version. Even the Secret Service was not amused.

Damn. I had this romantic notion that Americans weren't overly sensitive like the British. If Americans have become as pathetic as us then that's far more serious and with long-lasting consequences than anything one President or candidate can do.

For some reason I am reminded of Clint Eastwood's English Bob :)

and the haters till hate
the DNC was hacked and emails harmful to Hillary were made public on wikileaks
To distract attention from the content of the emails (and without a shred of evidence), the Hillary campaign blamed Putin and/or Trump
Trump played on this by saying that if Putin had the 33,000 missing emails (which Hillary had deleted to prevent the FBI reading them), then he should release those to the media and the FBI

Trump wasn't "asking Vladimir to spy on Hillary's emails"

And in the last few days, we've learned from Julian Assange that the source of the DNC leak wasn't a hacker, it was a DNC staffer who was a Bernie supporter who has now (like so many Clinton adversaries in the past) been murdered under mysterious circumstances. The DC police say it was a robbery gone bad, but nothing was taken.

That seems highly unlikely.  Trump does not seem like the kind of person who ever backs down or admits a mistake -- and his shrinking base of followers love him all the more for it.   The Republican party might cut it's losses and dump Trump (that seems to be starting now) but Trump will not go quietly.

Even if Clinton wins by a spectacular landslide, Trump will claim the election was rigged, sleazy journalists published lies about him, and he'll hint obliquely about "doing something about it".
At this point, I only see two possibilities
1) He is simply mentally ill, then all bets are off what he can do.
2) More likely, he is doing it not to become president, but for publicity because he thinks any publicity is good. Then he'll stay there until the end and try to generate more of it by making more and more absurd statements. Problem is, by doing that he is legitimizing something that has never been considered normal before.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I'd be happy if we could all discuss Trump's tax plan and how he is going to bring jobs back to the US.
the post "Breibart June 5: Hillary Clinton Outlines Plan to Abolish the Second Amendment" was needed because the media has been calling trump a liar for saying the Hillary wants to get rid of the Second Amendment

There was a recent Supreme Court case (District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008)) in which an attempt was made to retrict the right to bear arms to militias, so that individuals would lose that right.
Fortunately, the Supreme Court, in a narrow 5-4 decision, upheld the right of individuals to bear arms.
Hillary wants to appoint justices who will overturn Heller

When Trump said Hillary was planning to get rid of the Second Amendment, obviously refering to her stated intent to overturn Heller, the liberal media snarled that that was a lie and Hillary had no intention of introducing am amendment to the constiution to repeal the Second Amendment.

Clinton 43%, Trump 40%, Johnson 8%, Stein 2%
