I love it! You just don't CARE, do you?

I like the examples of Americans being sarcastic about Brits. Does anyone else have other examples?

Vikings 'brought sarcastic sense of humour to Britain'

"“It was not all about raping and pillaging, the Vikings were sarcastic as well,”

so beginners, when will they get deeper sarcasm and triple layer sarcasm ?

so the he Sarcasm equation likely of Viking origin! it explains the high precision!

No it was also about sarcasm, some of the rapes and plllaging could have been misunderstood sarcasm actually. Explains the bad reputations, it took time for britons and the irish to get used to sarcasm. Explains also why great sea side nations like Norway and in particular USA have more sarcastic humor than britons.

Grettir’s Saga : the hero’s brother, Atli, is stabbed fatally through the stomach, whereupon his dying words are (more or less) ‘I see that broad spears are in fashion this year’.” hemm  I though it was crossbows...
