Presumably this works via van der Waals (or van der Floors) forces.

Guess how this has happened. To the winner I can send z few bottles of Costa Rican salsa (expiry date is March 2018, but we have so many left that my husband won't use them).

I could cosplay Dark Elf from Morrowind!

Oh man, that must hurt! Your cat made a little scratch on your eye and now you have an infection/ulcer?

Nope. Nothing to do with cats (I mislead you by posting this here, sorry). I can send you the salsa sauce anyway, if you want (it's really nice, nothing like the regular supermarket tomato dip) - you could make the gallo pinto :-)

Costa Rican salsa explosion?

Toe-eye collision during kick-boxing?

Ah, now I know, .. I have this all the time.. You lost track of time while working/gaming on your computer! As it turns out you forgot to blink for 37 hours!

It had also spread to your other eye, it could be a sinus infection that has started to rage.
Or, it affected both your eyes, but one more than the other.

I know: .. new contact lenses

Subconjunctival hemorrhage (broken blood vessel in eye)
it lists a whole bunch of possible causes, none of which seem to me to be more or less likely than the others
let's go with "sneezing"

That's quite a comprehensive list of possible factors :-) I was/am afflicted by two of them: physical effort (I was climbing long hours at a fast pace, to the verge of collapsing) and I have something the doctors called "thin blood" when I was a child and often experienced nose bleeding (my blood doesn't clot properly - it's hereditary, but it's not haemophilia; it also seems to subside in us with age, but - as you can see - doesn't completely go away).

Anyway, if anyone wants some salsa, let me know here. It's in large (25 oz) sealed bottles; it's not expensive but hard to get in Europe. If you are in London, you can pick up from me in Limehouse, Marylebone or Canary Wharf at particular days and times.

Outrun, I developed ptosis in one eye from wearing contact lenses and have to glasses now.

I've been making Hugarian lecho (my own version) for dinner for my husband today and added one Scotch bonnet (to 6 bell peppers, 2 onions, and 25 oz tomato puree) - it has a similar capsaicin concentration to Habanero peppers (my fingers are still smarting from slicing it). It was more than enough!

P.S. I assume your doctor has checked your B12 levels. Low B12 can be an issue with vegan diets and can lead to low platelet counts and slow clotting.
