fwiw,
“Free-bleeding,” the practice of avoiding feminine hygiene products because they are an oppressive tool of the “patriarchy” and part of male “period-shaming,” began life as a hoax created by members of the notorious 4chan message board back in 2014.

british department store gets rid of "boys" and "girls" labels in children's clothing
The clothing style hasn’t changed – you’ll still find floral dresses and skirts, but the retailer is simply proving the point that they can be worn by both girls and boys.
They’ve also launched a new unisex clothing line for children, featuring dinosaur print dresses and spaceship tops.
Caroline Bettis, the head of childrenswear at John Lewis, said: “We do not want to reinforce gender stereotypes within our John Lewis collections and instead want to provide greater choice and variety to our customers, so that the parent or child can choose what they would like to wear.”

it would seem that the  brits are not as enlightened as the rest of the world
Christian parents take their son, six, out of Church of England primary school and plan to sue because a male classmate is allowed to wear a dress

left unsaid in the article is the  bathroom issue. Which bathroom (and which locker-room) do the transgenders use?

As a scientist I am only convinced by observables. I am rarely in a position to examine the genetalia or chromosomes of other people. Thus the only viable data is from the invidvidual concerned, so I see no alternative to accept whatever "identity" they want.

As an Englishman I of course look to Shakespeare who tells us "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players". Some people act like women, others do not, one of my drinking buddies acts as a dog on childrens TV another is teaching young women how to act like 1920s lesbians, some people "act black" including occasionally my teenage very white boys. I observe this all and fail to care very much, because the one uniquely English virtue is not giving a fuck about things that don't affect you.

Which leads to my posiiton as a pimp, where I don't care whether someone pisses sitting, standing (or as ithe case with some people), into a bag as long as I can sell them.

As for "skirts", the royal Connor tartan is of course grey and given that I am the minority of wilmotters who has had formal training and qualification with both the cutlass and Lee Enfield .303 rifle, I would happily duel with anyone who challgenges me on this.

trans-black woman on british tv
Phillip ended the interview by stating: "Race and colour is much more than skin deep."
Phillip is correct: if you have white skin but identify as black, then black you are. And vice versa

I'd remind Phillip of the old song: "If you can judge a man by the color of his skin, then mister you're a better man than I"

Surely this story is one of those from 15 years ago that has resurfaced again. (Like the ones about dead people re-dieing.) It can't possibly be current. What were they thinking? Takes ethnic cleansing to a new level.

Much earlier.
