Chris Kraft RIP
A hero of mine.
RIP
Did you have an opportunity to work with him or meet him, if you don't mind me asking? (I vaguely remember something about you working for NASA.)

I wish on both counts. The closest I have come to Chris Kraft was I am acquainted with someone who knows his protege Gene Kranz. The acquaintance says that he is the most impressive person I has ever met.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

The Brits had Invanhoe (Roger Moore), RH was the Dutch version.

It comes as a shock to me when popular culture icons of my youth (and we were always several years behind in EE) die. He was great in The Hitcher too and so handsome in Ladyhawk.

RH way too cool to play James Bond.....

Without wanting to get too obsessed with Hauer's Blade Runner role, didn't we just recently get to the date where the film was set?
Did he outlive Roy Batty?

Toni Morrison. Great author. RIP.
124 was spiteful. Full of a baby's venom. The women in the house knew it and so did the children.

“Common sense and a sense of humour are the same thing, moving at different speeds. A sense of humour is just common sense, dancing. Those who lack humour are without judgment and should be trusted with nothing.” Clive James

So that’s anyone East of Macclesfield. I can see myself using this quotation a lot.
