I have ever wondered whether, in the RL field, an agent that learns to jump in a high jump simulated environment that would take into account all actual physics, mechanics, etc... constraints would find a new jump technique that would outperform Fostrbury's

I guess people are busy updgrading to the latest chatGPT version or doing other useful stuff like creating AI generated images of Merkel and Obama having fun on the beach. This astounds me that no one seems to care about real stuff like the recent Quant Insights Conference. I'm having rough time navigating the World as it is nowadays, to be honest. Just some random end of day thought.
