flying with doggists
Pam Bacich of Newport Beach, California, arrived at her seat for a flight from Juneau, Alaska, to Seattle recently to find the space beneath her filled by Thor. The more-than-100-pound Great Pyrenees “stability dog” stretched all the way from the floor beneath his owner, at the window, to the aisle, where Bacich sat.
“I rode for 2 ½ hours with his head under my feet,” she said. “I love dogs, but this shouldn’t be allowed, just from a safety standpoint. The airlines have no control.”
I'm not sure I even understand the configuration here, the dog on the floor under her feet so her feet were a couple of feet off the ground?

the support animal thing on planes has gotten out of hand
there was a video circulating last week of some woman being dragged off southwest because an "emotional support" dog was given preference.
Something along the following lines happened:
woman sees dog, tells flight attendant she is allergic. Flight attendant says, in that case, you can't fly safely so you'll have to get off. Woman says, "say what?" Woman is dragged off the plane.

Some of the support dogs are legitimate, but some are not: some people want to take their pets on flights with them so label them emotional support animals.
Seeing-eye dogs are legitimate, obviously, but why does a seeing-eye dog need to be in the cabin as opposed to in a cage in the cargo hold?

Charges filed against passenger who complained of allergies on Southwest flight and was forcibly removed
Daulatzai, he said, indicated she had a life-threatening animal allergy. An emotional support animal and a pet were aboard the aircraft.
it just seems bizarre that they cater to someone who needs an "emotional support animal" but not to someone who is allergic to the emotional support animal
google found this
If you have pet allergies, chances are it is Fluffy rather than Fido that's making you sneeze. While an estimated 10 percent of people are allergic to household pets, cat allergies are twice as common as dog allergies, according to the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
say 5% are allergic to dogs, then if there's 100 people in the cabin, 5 are going to be allergic to that emotional support dog

People travelling with emotional support animals make special arrangements with the airlines for it. Since the life-threatening allergic didn't inform the airlines, I'd suspect that she was lying (some weirdos act like that to feed their self-importance). Besides, if her allergy was so serious, it was too late for her to travel since the pets were already on board :-P

I'd think that all airlines would have policies that would keep people with imminent life-threatening conditions off a passenger airliner (for reasons of liability, safety, reliable customer service to the N-1 people who don't want an inflight emergency and diversion, and operational costs). Once this woman said she had such a condition and could produce no evidence from her doctor that she was safe to fly, there really was only one course of action.

Bastards (the management).
According to a complaint filed by the condo association to Boylan and the condo owner, exotic animals are not allowed. He never told the board about the animal.
squirrels are not exotic animals
