Quant developer consultants.

September 18th, 2018, 9:24 pm

For CV/resume purposes, what is a good brief job title for a quantitative developer who works for a consultancy, as a consultant, for various banking
clients who are clients of the consultancy.  Would that be Quantitative Developer Consultant?  Or just Quantitative Developer?
By the way, the official job title, the employer gave me was "Quant Developer" (as stated in my employment contract and offer letter).

Thank you.

Not sure about the gory details but I think you should probably create a primary bullet point as quant dev consultant including the name of the consulting company and then use sub-bullets to indicate clients and projects, assuming each was substantial enough to be worth singling out.

For the sake of the resume, the best way would be to write whatever your oficial title was at the time, as any discrepancy will raise questions during background checks (those are easily addressed, but still). The consulting nature of the job can be mentioned in the responsibilities.
