According to the state-of-the-art genetics, we have finite number of genes, which can be expressed in a finite number of ways, so I'd argue that there is a non-zero chance of the same sex. I definitely agree that the concept of sex is outdated, though - just like that of race.
Bearish, I've googled the exact numbers and was surprised to learn that 79% of US vegans are women! Most of my hard-core-vegan pals are men. On the other hand the majority of animal welfare workers I meet are women: recently quite a renown writer, who's established an animal-welfare-focused community centre in the poorest regions of Eastern Europe or a dudette who, when I called her the Mother Teresa of dogs and cats, just said "Yeah, I met her and worked with her" (!!). I can't understand how such strong spirited people, loving animals (more than I) can still eat meat...
