Good book on i-banking in general and quant's roles?

May 7th, 2008, 9:29 pm

Hi,Can anyone recommend a good book on i-banking in general that explains the different groups in i-banks, the different positions within groups, how different groups and positions make money, and how much different positions are paid? I want something that includes quant’s and their different roles, but doesn't focus on quant’s exclusively. Thanks

Kuznetsov's The Complete Guide to Capital Markets for Quantitative Professionals has some of this.

TraderJoe, can you explain why the London Mathematical Society Lecture Notes are always so damn expensive? They are paperback!

The Complete Guide above is recommended for quant roles. For non-quant roles, I would definitely recommend The Accidental Investment Banker
