1) How much of your labour time do you spent with private, non-work-related stuff (surfing the internet, private phone calls, staring at the screen but thinking of naked women or football, having a walk through the office, drinking coffee and chating with your colleagues, smoking etc.)?2) Do you feel the need to stay late in the office, as you are afraid of any negative consequences from your colleagues?

1) Early on when I joined a bank I had never seen so many hot looking women.I was still relatively young then and my hormones used to get the better of me so I would say 60% just on the "thinking of naked women". Later I moved to another bank where I had an analyst who was an utter (to the power of 5) sex bombshell sit along my desk and number went to over 85% again on the same topic. I've since settled down and that number has gone down to 10% regarding the "thinking of naked women" topic. (I'm getting older you see as well.) 2)F**k 'em!

I say, which bank did you see all these hot women at. I thought all the hot women worked at the ad agencies on Madison Avenue or at the strip clubs.

I consider walking thru the office and chatting with colleagues part of "work." Look at all the execs who do nothing but walk thru the office and chat with colleagues all day. Some might schedule a meeting to chat with colleagues in a conference room to make it seem more official. It's physically impossible to program for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. You'll totally burn out in 3 years.

But it begs the question of how she got the trading gig in the first place??

In fact, let me go one step further and say that you have to compulsorily possess certain attributes to be a porn star but any tom, dick and harry can call himself a trader. A very large fraction of traders have no understanding of anything refined apart from buying and selling, and a very large number of traders blow up.

Yeah, dude, obviously this is critical information. No offense to anyone on this forum, but 90% of the quants are dudes, and the remaining 10% are perhaps not quite as hot as those supermodels in the ad agencies on Madison Avenue or at the strip clubs. I mean, realistically, if that is what you are looking for, the banks must be the most depressing places to work in. If by some chance, you had actually stumbled across a bank with an abundance of hot women, I can just see the number of job appications to that bank surge like crazy. I mean, if you have to spend 12 hours a day at a workplace, would you rather be surrounded by quants or by those superhot girls at the ad agencies on Madison Avenue.

Don't know if this is allowable but here goes (I don't wish my posts to become too sordid in nature! ): http://www.monicamayhem.com/

Does this give you any ideas? Wake up!btw, if she got a job at an IB, this means she probably has a degree from a highly selective university too.
