Tell visa to agents

February 27th, 2014, 5:15 pm

Hi,I have found out that whenever you tell agents that you need a visa for a job, they stop contacting you. Is it wise to refuse disclosing your visa situation or "lying" about it, in order to get an interview? I've been contacted by agents for work in IBs or other big companies that can sponsor visa. Wouldn't it be better to mention the visa situation only to the hiring manager rather than the agents, in order to pass one hurdle?
