I thought it was me all along. But yes, it's unreadable.

I think the term is "(Non) optimal allocation of screen estate".

I agree. Can't that top content in the right column be moved somewhere else so that it doesn't create an empty right margin on all posts?

On my (large) screen the sidebar disappears when I reduce the width to medium screen size and then the avatar container and postbody both expand to full width (12 column) for small screen width. Hence, it's readable. That's how it should work, I guess.

On a portrait screen - just try rotating your screen 90 degrees- the forum shows a narrow topic list and entries - horrid and barely readable.

I've checked on a wide desktop screen, a laptop, a tablet and a smartphone (horizontal and vertical, split screen) - it seems OK (I run my own webpage using bootstrap and know how it should more or less behave). The problem might be browser specific. A screenshot would help.

Here is what I am seeing today on maximized browser screens:

-On Google Chrome, the forum proper takes up 75% of the width allocated to the site and the sidebar with Paul's picture takes 25%. This is fine.

-On ie11, the split is 50/50 and this is bad.

Suggest admin do some tests on ie11 to confirm/fix.

I have stopped using IE11, it sucks.

Google Chrome and Firefox are fine.
