Add the funny little picture of Einstein and it is really a multi-dimensional puzzle!
One way to help solve the line drawing puzzle is to reconstruct each drawing using colored pencils - a different color for each continuous line.
Then see how you can work with those lines - rotate, mirror-reflect, shift, to form the next image in the sequence.
At least this is how I think about it.
Could be completely wrong and the real answer is waiting on a different plane...
and yes, typos can be like "Freudian slips"- funny little verbal mistakes that reveal more than what one had intended.
Can be very entertaining though, in any language.
