Some banned. (What a memory you've got!)

I have my suspicions about #2.

One of them was actually the cause of others leaving! No names! Free speech and all.

People have been reporting the death of #9 for a long time now. Maybe finally true?

First he transformed Wilmott forum into ***** blog and then stopped posting. Funny.

And for the real “find a particular straw in the haystack” question: which post was it?

Not sure, but not hacked.

We cannot edit indefinitely, but we can still delete the last post we made as long as no one posted after that.

I will demonstrate.  My last post was on the back issues of W magazine thread and I will now delete it.

Do not try to get there first bearish to block me.  : D

Proof:

Here is the deleted post from the Magazine thread:

Cover art inspiration for an issue this year?

We are in the hands of a Hydra now: climate change, pandemic x.0, International "diplomacy"...

Time to build a fast ship and sail away!

Voila.

Also, if you post photos using the attachment feature, you can always delete some or all of your attachments and the photos will disappear, although they do leave the file names behind. I will demo that too.

Great - and I see I am down to 3,428. That is much more sensible.

However, I just want you to know that I have all of my posts collected, printed and in binders.

It is my Great American post-modern Novel.  About 2,500 pages at last count, so probably 7+ volumes.

Karl Ove Knausgaard will have to wait for his Nobel thingy.

I assume it's because we changed systems in 2016.

I guess we could tinker with the database if anyone wants their numbers changing!

Sorry - I missed this entire development while thinking about legos. I still can’t get the rare image of a shark stepping on a Lego out of my head.

Easy! Use the search tool and put in the author’s name. The actual thread count will come right up.

For example, I put your name in to test it and got 2,357. Tested a few more and seems about right.

We used to have a leader board - as you may recall - long gone now, but ppauper was out front by a mile.
