No, that was removed from Europe, along with all the Poles in it.
I thought the Poles left of their own accord, to sunnier climates.
Last I saw, there was still about a million of them. Who, along with a slightly smaller number of Romanians, were presumably a critical factor in causing the English people to vote leave.

It was fascinating watching all the middle classes saying how wonderfully cheap were the Polish builders. But probably not so fascinating for all the English builders who then lost their jobs.

And presumably you know the story of the poster boy Romanian immigrant to the UK, Victor Spirescu. Welcomed into the UK off the plane by Labour MP Keith Vaz. Fortunately driving at 100mph on drink and cocaine the poster boy only killed himself.

And presumably you know the story of Keith Vaz. I’ll stop there. But my point is something about walking a mile in someone else’s shoes.

Those English builders became property investors. They lost more than their jobs.

You're gonna need 98 more anecdotes to make it significant ;-)

I only once had a Polish handyman at home when in the UK (the company sent him to fix the fridge). For some reason he thought I was French, and since it would take me to long to put it right, we spoke in English. He was useless. All my regular handymen were British, except for the Ukrainian carpenter - a very talented guy.

Cuchulainn - true! My electrician was a property investor. (Or actually his Polish wife was.)

I hope @AlexPro doesn't get wind of this! He's very much anti-doggist.
