I think that if you are an accountant in Slough --- apologies, I should say that if your truth is that you are an accountant in Slough [I'm combining identity politics and simulations. You're welcome.] --- then you aren't in a simulation. If you are Obama, a Kardashian, or Charles Manson, or me, then you are.
Having said that, in my one foray into SecondLife I built an avatar that was the only fat, bald person there. Everyone else had wings, was tall and slim. But being an accountant was one step too far.
