It already has. Some once good friends no longer speak to me because they are Remainers. You are the only Remainer who still does! If this counts as speaking.
I agree. How childish not to speak to someone because of their views.

I just found out that someone I know is a friend of Stephen Kinnock. What should I do?

I just found out that someone I know is a friend of Stephen Kinnock. What should I do?
There's only one thing worse than knowing a friend of Stephen Kinnock, and that's not knowing a a friend of Stephen Kinnock.

This is not very helpful. Do I bring it up in conversation or not? Is it better to be honest and upfront or pretend it didn't happen?

The US sales tax is as complex as VAT. Say nothing about their income tax! I work with many US immigrants, I know how much more complex their tax system is from ours.
I love the US system of online payment...you fill in details online and the bank prints out a physical cheque which they then post!
