Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

Pot calling kettle black: Trump called the Bidens “an organized crime family” during an event today in Ft Myers, FL.

Maybe he is jealous that they’re organized?

He's jealous that the Bidens, or at least one of them, got $50,000/month from business in the notoriously corrupt Ukraine and all he ever got was a lousy impeachment. Plus other yet-to-be-verified stuff. Perhaps he needs a few tips from "Big Guy" Joey B. I can envision the start of the meeting:

The Big Guy: " I said I would see you because I've heard you're a serious man, to be treated with respect. Now, how can I help you?
The Big D: "Joey (can I call you Joey?) -- just tell me, where did I go wrong? You beat me flat.
The Big Guy: "Well, Donald, I can see a number of mistakes. The first thing is, you've got to own the media."

Wait! There is the matter of millions of dollars in emoluments paid into Trump’s personal companies while president, not to mention hundreds of millions in loans from, well - you know who, that are unlikely ever to be repaid. So, even if there were any veracity to the Ukrainian flows, they would amount to what in the trade is known as chump change. Not, of course, to be confused with “peanuts”, which brings us right back to those bad loans (possibly a bit too much inside baseball...).

Agree that Biden-related Ukraine flows likely chump change compared to China
To be fair -- could be all legit -- just routine (and legal) harvesting of political connections, aka "It's good to be the King".  :D

So Trump keeps on conducting super-spreader events in contested states (like FL and WI). This may be a good thing. As long as the participants haven’t committed mail fraud voting, there is a decent chance that they will die, or at least become sufficiently incapacitated, between now and Nov 3 so as not to vote. As the saying goes, hope hicks eternal.

Fake news. Biden is a threat to Russia and a pillar for dilapidated Eastern European democracy. Social media will keep buzzing about the story distributed by botnets to damage his reputation.
Besides, I'm afraid America under Trump has lost its moral heights over "notoriously corrupt Ukraine".

Trump’s latest woes: people haven’t stopped caring about Covid yet! He is so done with it... And nobody has arrested Biden yet. Nor have they arrested any of the journalists who have failed to report on the crimes of Biden! That may or may not be a capital offense. Meanwhile, the young bitch he is pushing for the Supreme Court is demurring on whether social security and Medicare are even allowable under the constitution. Which is a marked improvement, since she has otherwise refused to answer any other relevant question about anything. Because why should she? McConnell will anoint her. Hopefully, that will be one of his last actions. At least as the Kim Jong-un of the senate.

For some reason, I am reminded of a couple lines from WarGames:
I don't have to take that, you pig-eyed sack of shit.
I was hoping for something a little better than that from a man of your education.

I recently endorsed a book. The publishers quoted me as "Donald J. Duffy".
