Yes, 25th Amendment, men in white coats, and others in hazmat suits. 2020 isn’t over yet!

Congrats to Joe Biden.
Congrats to Republican checks on a Democratic hegemony.
Now at least the US media will stop obsessing over Covid.
Most disappointed in the outcome were the potential looters, of course.

Those with PTSD (post-Trump stress disorder) can probably find a helpline someplace.  :D

Trump has yet to call in the Boogalloo Boys and those other “fine people” who will support him to the death (of somebody), so we’ll see about the looters. For the time being, they’re merely losers.

We can still hope for a miracle in Georgia. I’d even be praying for one if I’d thought that would make a difference.

And with Trump switching from largely ignoring and only half-heartedly undermining the fight against Covid to most likely entering full sabotage mode, it seems likely that we’ll see another ten million cases and two hundred thousand deaths in this country by January 20. I think even Fox News may take notice of that.

Tough fight, good outcome.
Small celebration with a slice of pumpkin pie and a glass of champagne.
And just my view, but all lives matter, even right wing Republican lives.

Hopefully Biden and Harris can bridge the gap, so people don't have to feel like Fascism is the right answer in a very large, complex and evolving society.

Am curious to learn about bearish's ideas about "full sabotage mode" for Covid.
Operation Warp Speed to be cancelled? Renamed Operation Impulse Engines Only?

In contrast, I predict that today's NYC super-spreader party celebration for Biden will NOT lead to a big new outbreak. (Well, NYC probably has herd immunity anyway). But it looks pretty rowdy and may lead to what historians will call the "VT baby-boom".  :D

Trump took a short break from Twittering and is playing golf this afternoon.

Trump is now back from playing golf and has staked a fresh claim that he won the election. It still feels like I may end up losing the bet and have to work on those cocktails. Giuliani’s response when he heard that all the networks had called the election for Biden? “That’s ridiculous! Courts decide elections!”
Meanwhile, spirits in NYC have been running high this afternoon.

Not too worried about a reversal of fortune, but among my many cookbooks, I do have one very subversive Cookbook.

And Cristal should not be too hard to find, for a price!

If it comes to that, you can stuff the bottles with the rags and I'll trim the wicks. : D He he.

This is how I celebrated this evening - lots of fresh flowers around the house and a glass of the Roederer.

Two candles - for the light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks for all of the dark humor these past few years.
