Me too! I'm watching from the sidelines. The one thing I'm angry about is the damage Trump does to climate policy and wildlife protection.

several mafiosi have bragged that they worked with jospeh kennedy, whom they said was a bootlegger during prohibition
Kennedy was never caught in the act
Decades after Prohibition, Underworld figures like gangsters Meyer Lansky and Frank Costello fed the rumor by speaking up in public that they worked with Kennedy to bring in liquor from Rum Row or to transport it on land. Owney Madden, another gangster bootlegger, confided privately to his lawyer that he served Kennedy’s liquor in his Prohibition era night clubs in New York City, which would have included the Cotton Club.
The author of Paddy-Whacked: Untold Story of the Irish Gangster suggests Kennedy may have financed shipments to Rum Row from Europe but not smuggled these shipments to land. Instead, he could have re-sold it to others who then smuggled it in (e.g. Costello?) According to the Dark Side of Camelot , Kennedy smuggled liquor to Long Island’s Sag Harbor. But maybe this was Costello bringing in liquor purchased on Rum Row from Kennedy? Lansky in the 1970s also said Joe Kennedy disliked him because Kennedy thought he (Lansky) once hijacked a liquor shipment of his (Kennedy’s) from Boston to New York City during Prohibition. (See Mafia Encyclopedia.)

Deportations up 9 percent in 2018; still below Obama peak years
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it has removed more than 191,000 people through the first nine months of the fiscal year, which is 9 percent higher than the same period in 2017
(snip)
But the numbers still can’t touch the records Mr. Obama set in the middle of his terms, when Hispanic leaders angrily dubbed him “deporter-in-chief.”
In 2012, he had deported 310,000 people by this point — 40 percent more than Mr. Trump.
Those numbers were boosted by the Secure Communities program, which saw ICE officers check through local prison and jail lists to see which inmates were deportable.
I guess they didn't have sanctuary cities under obama

Does that suggest that if the Republican policy is to deport, the current administration is run in a less efficient manner than under the Democrats, and hence for the Republican's to get their policies implemented in the best possible way...should vote Democrat in the next election.

Trump's current nominee for supreme court justice has a well documented history as a proven lier under oath. And he is on record being in favor of granting absolute blanket protection against any kind of investigation, let alone prosecution, of a criminal president. But this is probably unrelated to why he was nominated... And he will obviously help overturn Roe v Wade at the first possible opportunity, but that may not even be that important in the grand scheme of things.
