It does indeed now seem to be the case that as Trump was engaging in DFK with Kim, the latter had his people rebuild the ballistic missile base that was sort of meant to be, like, not operative anymore. But there is no threat, at all! Because he wrote some awfully great love letters to Trump. You can't fake that!

Yang Li (aka Cindy Yang), who ran the brothel that caught people like Robert Kraft and John Havens (New England Patriots and Morgan Stanley, respectively) is really close to Trump. To the point of selling access to him to Chinese money. It's unclear whether the access goes beyond dinner in the White House and selfies to access to the toad stool itself... But there should be no surprise here. This is the Trump class of people.

The bleeding orifice that occupies the White House is losing more fights than he is winning these days. Hopefully, that is a sign of things to come. We are still awaiting the traditional punishment for treason.

I am by no means an expert on US politics but it seems a mistake to emotionally invest too much in any impeachment or indictment for treason or anything similar?
If any investigation had uncovered that (as opposed to humdrum financial corruption)  wouldn't it be shouted from the rooftops?

Every minute spent dwelling on Trump is a minute of ones life that won't come back.

I don't strongly disagree. I am down to a rate of less than once per day now, so improving. But no, I would not expect rooftop shouting from Mueller & team. Impeachment, at least in its modern form, is a political process, so agree no particular chance for that to come through with the current congressional make-up (regardless of case and evidence). And it is unimaginable that he can win a re-election while congress swings so far away from the GOP to make an impeachment in the following session any more likely. So the most likely path to an agreeable outcome would be for him to lose the re-election bid and then be fair game for a long list of trials in state and federal courts. But I should remind myself that i am convinced that he will start a war before (or perhaps in place of) giving up his TV room in the White House.

Is that so bad? That means democracy is not for you, in democracy it happens quite often that they elect someone you did not vote.

The fucking toad is at it again (see e.g. McCain). We can only hope for a final solution. And it is funny that the flunky who took out the Gambini crime boss is a Trump acolyte.

The Trump White House is currently busy subverting the constitution, as expected, by resisting any and all lawful requests from Congress to obtain information. There will be penalties, but probably not until the end.

Sadly, it looks like Mueller failed. Or decided that succeeding wasn't worth it. Next...

So Trump is nominating a Looney Toons charlatan to the board of the Fed. In other words, business as usual.

It turned into a straight up Republican white wash by Mueller, Barr and Rosenstein. Sad, but hardly shocking.
