Politics in Ireland is no better (emerging mini versions of Trump/Johnson)

BTW it is now not a good time for the Coming of the Messiah.
The Pharisees would never allow it.

Specifications: horse country, a nice view - a vast green expanse, lake, or ocean are equally good) and a decent airport within 1- 1.5 hours from my house.

Donegal airport, ocean + beach + 5 minutes from house. Beach is great for interval training.

And only 15 minutes away from Enya's bar and restaurant.

Ah, oh well.  Keep it on the back burner then.  But it's always good to have a Plan B. : )

Today Plans A and B both involve cooking. Experiments for the feast to come this week!

But before I leave, a nice picture from Capitol Hill.

So, by ordering the unlawful assassination of a foreign dignitary, Trump has again demonstrated that he operates on the intellectual level of "Killing bad guys is good!" There is obviously no question that the bad guy was a bad guy, but by breaking the rules of engagement, he invites further atrocities. And, realistically, will probably delight in them, since they are likely to fire up his base.

Yeah - we'll hit cultural and religious sites, because that will really make them mad.

USA didn't bomb Kyoto in WW2 *because* it was an important cultural site. Now Trump wants to "punish" Iran by destroying their cultural artefacts. Who else was doing that in war? ISIS and Nazis.

Did the Nazis do that? I thought they were earmarking all the nice historic places everywhere for offices or apartments for when they invaded...

hilarious.

I wonder if  the people who programmed in the coordinates for the US's 52 targets do better.
Hopefully they are like the klutz who put their "where is Iran" dot in the Pacific ocean. They may be a chance to get to see Persepolis yet....
