Those were exactly my three problems with them. And from what people tell me and what I read it has only got worse.

(I will not rant. I will not rant. I will not rant.)

Someone tell Trump that Ireland is not in  the UK. It would have saved a lot of $$ for Americans who are in Ireland at the moment.

This thread in languishing, but here is one for bearish.

If you happened to see the press conference last night - it was truly something to behold. You-know-who has been on the rails for a while, but he finally jumped the track. At least someone out there is sharing facts with the People...

NY GOV. ANDREW CUOMO RESPONDS TO TRUMP'S CLAIM OF ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY - Newsweek April 14

""The constitution says we don't have a king," Cuomo continued. "To say 'I have total authority over the country because I'm the president, it's absolute,' that is a king. ... We didn't have King George Washington, we had President George Washington.""

Good article. And I'll say "Cuomo 2024" because, if nothing else, he understands American history.

bearish, (and others) hope you enjoy this one. Surreal, a little scary, but also dark humor - once again.

Thanks - I’m deliberately not watching any of this crap at the moment. It’s all too predictable. Exactly the same story as the past three years, only with higher stakes (not counting the future of the Republic, which has been in play since day one of the current reign). I’ll start paying attention again when he cancels the elections.

Well, that’s according to some PR firm. My meta faith may be weakening, too.

Meanwhile, Trump decided to defund the WHO since they have been rumored to use science to address the pandemic rather than go along with his gut feelings for what will win him the most votes.

The WHO might be slightly less political than, er, a politician. But it's close!

So, now we know that if Trump had redirected his little brain away from Fox News and the golf round of the day and occasionally paid attention to his top secret President’s Daily Brief back in January, he would not have been *shocked* by the totally unforeseeable virus situation in March. May he rot in peace, sooner rather than later!

We can only hope that Trump’s refusal to ever wear a face mask will catch up with him. It may be our only hope.
