Maybe he's tylkov a clockwork orange? Bog help us all! (I still don't like Burgess. The book is a pop art trashbin of meaningless memes. The argot he "invented" is merely a bunch of transliterated - often incorrectly - Russian words. Gosh, why am I so negative today?)

Using Ludwig van like that! He did no harm to anyone. Beethoven just wrote music!

This is what's at stake in November. From the twit himself:

"These horrible & politically charged decisions coming out of the Supreme Court are shotgun blasts into the face of people that are proud to call themselves Republicans or Conservatives. We need more Justices or we will lose our 2nd. Amendment & everything else. Vote Trump 2020!"

With some (actually a lot of) luck, he will lose his "2nd. Amendment & everything else". We can dream...

Trump tweeted that protesters at his Tulsa debacle tomorrow will be met with police violence. That is probably true, and it is nice of him to forewarn his enemies.

A majority of both parties support DACA -- as do I. Given the Supreme court decision, the smart and fair thing to do at this point is enact it into law. And Trump should sign it. He was able to reverse himself on ObamaCare pre-existing conditions; he should think about this the same way here.  Will he? I am doubtful.

The ruling was pretty technical and based on bad administrative practices - as some law professor pointed out, the Trump administration just sucks on procedure. So, they will presumably just flip the stack and try again, but probably won't have time to do it before the end of his current term. Thus the urgency. And they are still trying as best as they can to kill ObamaCare. They are just not all that capable...

With some luck, tens of thousands of republicans will die from covid infections spread by Trump’s Tulsa insanity.

Soon be livin' in a brand new state!
Brand new state - gonna treat you great!
Gonna bring you barley, carrots and pertaters,
Pasture for the cattle, spinich and termaters,

So, Trump's pet poodle and personal protector, Attorney General William Barr, attempted to fire the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York last night. This may sound trivial and arcane, but he would be the chief prosecutor of the crime family that is running the country, and their cronies. Said prosecutor, Geoffrey Berman, is not going without a fight. This might have some entertainment value going forward.

So the poodle says “Trump fired him!”, and the head of the crime family says “you’re on your own, I ain’t don’t nothing!”

The plan is to replace the (republican, Trump donor, but evidently someone with a shred of integrity) incumbent with Jay Clayton. He is currently the head of the SEC, and has no experience as a prosecutor. Which is a great thing, if you and your cronies are being prosecuted!

Dearest darling I had to write to say that I won't be home anymore
'Cause something happened to me while I was driving home
And I'm not the same anymore
Oh, I was only twenty four hours from Tulsa

The latest from the bleeding orifice on DACA: "If you read the opinion, we won. But we have to refile. And everything is going to work out for DACA, and the young people." They'll be sent back to Mexico, whether that's where they came from or not, because he'll be able to do it...
