That sounds like a theory
Are you speaking in the vernacular, or do you mean something else?

theory is a contemplative and rational type of abstract or generalizing thinking about a phenomenon, or the results of such thinking. The process of contemplative and rational thinking often is associated with such processes like observational studyresearch. Theories may either be scientific or other than scientific (or scientific to less extent). Depending on the context, the results might, for example, include generalized explanations of how nature works. The word has its roots in ancient Greek, but in modern use it has taken on several related meanings.

Chlorinated chicken: How safe is it?
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-47440562

The average American consumed 42kg of chicken in 2018, according to data from the National Chicken Council

That's almost a kilo per week. So, if the average weight is 2 kg, that's 21 chickens per year pp. In total 6,000,000,000 chickens per year. And that's not even counting the ketchup.

Meh - I find it hard to get very excited about. It’s probably not ideal but, let’s put it this way, if you are inclined to eat your chicken fried, then I’d worry considerably more about the fried than chlorinated part of the story.

Britain and the European Union have clashed today over a free trade agreement, with Brussels deeming it "unlikely" but London saying it still could be reached in September.

Sure feels like it.

Maybe Brexit killing the financial services industry in London would not be such a bad thing after all: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54226107

Assuming no agreement is reached (my default at this point), what will be the legal status of fisheries in UK and EU waters come January?

It doesn't really matter ... it is toss-up between "paper fish" and real fish.
And to whom will they export the bonny shoals of herring? Japan, Australia, Manx??
