Get an EHIC or GHIC card. It’s free, and gets you free healthcare in the EU etc.

If these trivia upset you then you are in for a shock and you might want to double your dose of beta blockers...in the UK they drive on the wrong side of the road.
I agree. Driving on LHS is correct with a left-hand drive.

My question is; do I still retain the benefits of the Common Travel Area (CTA)?

At your age you really shouldn’t be travelling. Think of your hips.
I always travel with my bodyguards for support. We go back a long way. And mosh pitting is a great way to keep in shape.
BTW Simon, how's that VAT saga coming along?
