Thanks. I only checked Waitrose. A rookie mistake.

I missed that story when it happened. The obvious reaction is that it must be a hoax, since Austrian stamps identify the country as Österreich. All other stamps, that is. A check on post.at verifies that it is legit. And quite funny.

I googled Austrian sense of humour to see if this was a good example. Boy, was it an eyeopener! Forget sense of humour, did you know that Austrian men pee sitting down?! It's all here: https://austrianadaptation.com/28-ways-to-be-austrian/

This is going to be controversial, but Arnie is a girly man then!

They probably don't want to cause a splash.

Yet, the British — whose “The Office” and Monty Python shows have become pillars of English-language humor — learn from the Badoo poll that they are not as funny as they think. They placed just seventh out of 15 — behind the Brazilians, French and Mexicans.

I bet the EU could make a bit of desperately needed cash by having membership cards for middle class Brits. Like CostCo membership. For a few hundred pounds per person per annum the middle classes would be able to jump to the front of queues at customs, and get discounts on Prosecco. They’d also collect points with every avocado salad bought at Pret and every almond milk latte at Caffe Nero.

No, there wouldn’t be any licking involved. Although I am sure Verhofstadt would like that.

It is all a design flaw from insisting on Flachspuhler toilets.

You see plenty of this stuff around in the Germanophone world.
