Thank goodness. Now please tell me this is also true of Albania. And then tell Albanians.

(Envy isn't my favourite Sin by a long way!)

I'm glad the sausage embargo to NI has ended.
Of course, you can buy them a few miles down south, but the labels are different ...
Anyhoo, those DUPers in Westminster are on the pig's back, what?

Albania is a strange country and Albanians are strange people, very unique in their own way. The case of Poland is a simple case of convergence towards economic equilibrium.

It has nothing to do with Brexit. They just make more money in Poland. As simple as that.
Even Mr Starmer knows that https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/starmer-labour-uk-poorer-poland-b2289979.html

Britons are on course to become poorer than people in Poland, Hungary and Romania, Sir Keir Starmer will claim as he sets out his plans for a Labour government to boost economic growth.
...
According to Labour analysis of World Bank data, the wealth prospects in Britain are set to be surpassed within the next 20 years by eastern European rivals.
The party’s calculations of Britain’s wealth decline were based on assuming UK gross domestic product (GDP) per capita continues to grow at a similar rate of 0.5 per cent in real terms as it did between 2010 and 2021. That compares with 3.6 per cent for Poland, 3 per cent for Hungary and 3.8 per cent for Romania in the same timeframe. Should that trajectory be sustained, Labour said it would mean the average Briton would be poorer than their Polish counterpart by 2030, and less well-off than those residing in Romania and Hungary by 2040.
On the other hand, the countries you mention will probably have even worse human rights record than now.
Hungary?? gimme a break.

And where is Polish society converging to? Curious..

Cuch, you still don't know that what you read about Poland is just German propaganda? C'mon, people should think. There is the age-old Russian-German plan (by Bismarck) of pacifying everything that lies between the two powers. They were pretty close to success, only Putin was a bit too impatient.

I see what you mean (nice try, but you can't fool me, there is no Bismarck); here is an example

and this

You can't blame Putnak for everything.
Good luck with your 3% economic growth per annum.

Yes, Eva Kaili did her well-paid job and you gulp it down like a turkey.

PS. It's much more than 3% PA, that 3% on average includes a short recession during the pandemic.

That's peanuts and speculation. NI has a great future

NI could be world's most exciting economic zone - Sunak
https://www.rte.ie/news/brexit/2023/022 ... agreement/

Now, try equalling that. And NI allows same-sex marriage since 2020. Poland not (yet). Who needs it with 3% growth, what?

We've ended up with same-sex marriages (which are the best testament to human rights) and I wanted only to show why Polish nurses are leaving the UK. It has nothing to do with Brexit.

I'm not a NI citizen. In the South 1st country in ze world  to have same-sex marriage.
I see only 1 solution PLEXIT.
