Is there enough space for all 60 millions of us there?

That's why you stock them up for rainy days!
Yes, April showers. Perfect timing!
and afterwards?

Oh, it's a long, long while from May to December
But the days grow short when you reach September
When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
One hasn't got time for the waiting game
Oh, the days dwindle down to a precious few
September, November

We can all live like people in rural England, in harmony with Nature, tranquillity and happiness. The progress is passée.
Near Morpeth?

If you are stuck for cheese don't hesitate to call me. Or any other products that takes your fancy. We cannot leave our UK Wilmott friends in the lurch. I'm thinking of giving Bob Geldof a ring.

Thank you! You are very thoughtful (unlike some people here who wouldn't share a carrot with me :-/).

Update: 80 jars of homemade jam and 20 miscellaneous chutneys etc. Some go back a looong time, but none are mouldy. However no one else will eat them besides me.

Re: jams and chutneys

Very good.  You might consider homemade ice cream as well.  Lavender Earl Grey, for example, is delicious.

I've been thinking about Brexentertainment and a few ideas so far:

Chess-Boxing would be a centerpiece - drawing on brains and brawn.

and something that does not exist yet - so you could be the first:

Jousting-Sarcasm Tournaments!
Here's a little primer on the jousting side.

For those with a real taste for blood, you can look up "Full Metal Jousting" - there are a number of exciting videos featuring really bad falls and more than a dash of gore.

As for the Grand Prize to the victor of the First Jousting-Sarcasm Tournament, well, what goes best with sarcasm?

I have no idea, I'm sure.

I have no taste for looking at horses getting nasty injuries, thanks.

The people are the ones taking the falls...

But thanks for your concern.

No ice cream, we can’t be sure we’ll have electricity to keep the freezer going.

Any loss of horse life in sport is tragic, but people can read the article if they want to understand what happened.
In brief: one horse was involved and it was a freak accident that occurred when the horse stepped on a broken lance.
So it was not that a horse was impaled through the jousting itself and multiple horses were not involved in the incident.

However, we can certainly look at other forms of jousting - could use dirt bikes, regular bikes, humans as "horses", and even... unicycles.

Paul can teach everyone else how to ride and let the grand tournament begin.
