There is a lot of oral overflow in his swing focus. Also, I played competitive tennis in the mid 70’s. That racket would have been old by then (not to mention that it seems slightly warped). Metaphors are lurking just beneath the surface here...

Indeed; a new racket, new balls and white socks.

Sex Pistols, The Who, Twisted Sister, etc. have all given us memes useful in many situations.

And thanks for reminding me, otherwise I wouldn't have known that he has a new book out. His previous, "Anger is an Energy," is one of my favourite autobiographies (along with David Niven, Paul O'Grady and PT Barnum, non-entertainer autobios are usually tedious I find).

Whatever,
Anyways, it seems that several high-flying Brexiteers have jumped ship and have gone to Monaco.

For most, it's

It was always the case that most of the rights and opportunities lost to Brexit were things you could buy anyway, if you were at least moderately rich.

Bear Grylls is ready

"Europe has many flaws, but I also believe the way to help resolve many of those tough issues is from within... I have never been a good quitter and I am so proud of the UK and our values: tolerance, kindness, respect, courage and resilience. This is why I want us to stay together and Remain in Europe."[89] In January 2020, he announced that he had asserted his right to Irish citizenship and had obtained an Irish passport.[90]

We were born in the same hospital. Breathtaking views and soothing sounds and smells.
