And we don't even need a manifesto!

But we would need to be slick. I was at a Brexit Party event last week. Very slick. I've been to events run by most parties, and this was easily the most impressive.

So, a brief attempt to psychoanalyze the current situation: some senior Tories like Hammond seem to be ready to throw the country into the hands of Corbyn rather than accept the Telegraph approved no-deal Brexit that seems almost inevitable under a (very temporary) Boris rule. It's currently hard to imagine the Conservative party getting seriously into double digit support in a snap election, but then again it was hard to imagine Trump winning, so who the fuck knows.

Hammond is a moron. If he ever spoke to people outside his bubble then he’d know that among natural Conservatives the fear of a Corbyn government is far greater than the fear of any sort of Brexit.

It should be, but I'm conjecturing that the "natural Conservatives" are not the kind to sign up to be the kind of activists that determine who becomes Prime Minister. Since that is an extraordinarily undemocratic process, you should not be surprised if it produces another dysfunctional outcome.

The question is, are there enough MPs in the current Parliament who are more afraid of a Corbyn government than of a no-deal Brexit?

It seems harder and harder to find any configuration that doesn't end up with a no-deal brexit.
I bet we end up with Corbyn plus no deal. Trying to navigate between Scylla and Charybdis and you end up with both.

At least we will know exactly whom to blame!

Steve Bannon is quietly laughing somewhere. He'd love the Corbyn/no-deal package, if only to increase the likelihood of full-on riots and Nigel Farage riding in on a white horse to save the day.

A proper left-wing government would restore social peace in the UK. Corbyn is the only option for that, for now.

Restore social peace, like to the way it was in the mid 70's? Or more like current day Venezuela? I'm just assisting Paul here. The idea that a no-deal Brexit followed by a totally predictable Corbyn government is a good thing compared to no Brexit is pretty deeply delusional. But each to their own...

Here's a nice video showing the social peace we'll get with a Corbyn government:

(I walked through central London last week with my Brexit Party canvas bag, and no one gave me my free bottle of water or milkshake.)

If only we were permitted to have independent views...

Milkshake, Molotov cocktail, whatever. You're about to get some free advice from a visiting dignitary on how to deal with Brussels. While I wouldn't exactly wish Corbyn upon you, there would be some entertainment value in watching him deal with Trump, and vice versa. Boris, much less so.
