This is a bit of an inside joke, but the point is that obviously Putin engineered Brexit (and Trump), so why deny it now?

Incidentally, Farage and his crowd seem very adamant about relying on the WTO as the institutional framework for post Brexit trade. I wonder if they are aware that Trump is sabotaging it to the point where it it may simply cease to be of any relevance by the end of the year?

Trump is the logical conclusion of where American politics was heading over many decades. Blaming him on Putin is very convenient if you don't want to do the hard work of fixing your country.

So, not to put too fine of a point on it, while we have an idiot president intent on getting the country to the 50's (specifically, the gender relations of the 1950s, the race relations of the 1850s, and the economics of the 1750s), you have just an idiot. Although they seem to share a barber (or lack thereof).

When I saw him (the first time) last week on the BBC1, I thought he was 70 years old but he is 50. His english accent seems bizzare.

He looks better on Radio 4
Some of the almost septuagenarians here will remember pater WRM Acorn doesn't fall far from the tree,
One of my neighbours went  to Eton but he lost that clipped accent while in Cambridge.He is a great croquet player, my favourite sport.

The worst is when Dutch poilticians try to imitate JRM in a high-pitched affected accent. But Joyce scholar Norris is an exception.
