I guess that will actually generate some jobs, which may otherwise be in short supply...

Depends who gets the jobs. It will be great if they don’t go to Eastern Europeans like they did before Brexit.

Maybe they prefer the dole. It pays better.

Strawberry fields forever? It's very difficult to find good plumbers, electricians and shrubbers these days!

The best tradesmen in East London are locals who ran their business for many years, not fly-by-night, here-today-gone-tomorrow operators.

They're not ignoring it - they're appealing it. It's their legal right to do so.
