Yes. But is there any relationship between the triggers and the timescale? I mean Category A (whatever that might be) person is triggered by certain things, has a certain threshold and a certain timescale. A Category B person has different triggers etc. and crucially a different timescale. What I’m getting at is that as news speeds up so different types of people get upset and feed back via SM. Some news stories will lead to bubbles, others won’t.

I think the behaviour needs to be described by the catastrophe theory. People have hysteresis. Re the Brexit, group behaviour is being controlled by the EU and the UK govs. Mind that whenever the UK politicians make some move, which could potentially switch people to a different state, the EU quickly responds to out-balance it and keep us where we are. Or at least that's how I try to approach this chaos - methodically :-{)
