Seriously, I paint my nails with strengthening varnish regularly. It costs me circa £10 per year and steals just a few minutes a week. Her nails must be done by a professional manicurist. I was passing by a salon yesterday, had time and decided to spoil myself a bit (and sooth my curiosity). I was filed, "plastered" and painted for almost an hour by a nice chatty Chinese, robbed of 600 NOK and left with huge claws like shovels. I'll have to get rid of it, because I won't be able to type on a keyboard, but otherwise I'd have to pay half the amount each week! PhD, long working hours, constant travelling and it doesn't pay as well as petsitting??

Neither is correct--> pet sitter. Only mainland Europeans conflate their words. The exception is politicians.
