You are applying a fixed-point theorem?

Don't encourage them!

private school: It's neither sufficient nor necessary  in order to vote socialist.

70% of millennials say they'd vote for a socialist

This might help to answer the title question (William Morris - a rich, privately educated and intelligent in the conventional sense Socialist [sic], but against demolishing old buildings to provide affordable housing)

Labour losing female vote?

Q2. If the General Election was taking place tomorrow, and there was a candidate from all political parties standing in your constituency, which party do you think you would vote for?

Male: 28%

Female: 19%

Notably, the support for Conservatives, Lib Dems and The Brexit Party is more equal between men and women.

It takes a really twisted tale of the tape to get reasonable people to vote for Corbyn. Of course, if the alternative is Boris or Nigel, maybe the tape is twisted enough. In this case, I'm happy to be a distant bystander.

I was a fan of Corbyn in 2015, but now I'm quite disappoint'. The only reason for which I am still considering voting Labour are environment and animal welfare issues.

I find different people's perception fascinating. Do you see the saviour of the UK, brilliant statesman, champion of the poor and the NHS, kindly grandpa? Or do you see a terrorist-lover, bent on destroying the UK because of the one book he read in his teens, never grew up, and with the IQ of one of my toenails?

Is it worth the risk?

Would you bet your house on it? Because, going by what he has said, if you are successful enough to own your own property that's what you are literally, literally, doing!

No matter what he's saying, I can see an unstable person acting on emotion, not reason. He would be dangerous in power imho. Masses like revolutions, though.

As it happens, I'm in complete agreement with both of you. There is just this nagging question of the alternative...

OK - but it's not like my opinions are rapidly changing. I'd say that for the last couple of decades (at least) you would find me pretty much aligned with the FT and the Economist. No magic there, they just seem to express views that are based on actual data and a somewhat enlightened world view.

Are you really thinking that journalists are able to understand anything? You've never met any, did you?
