Re: Random Republican WINGNUTS (or RRWs as they are affectionately known as)

I listened to the arguments yesterday.
Arguing for the status quo: (Solicitor General) Elizabeth Prelogar was excellent; Justice Breyer, good; Justice Sotomayor, pretty bad.
For those interested in hearing it (and with a helpful transcript so you can know who's speaking):
Oral arguments: Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health

All right, the peace thing was totally uncalled for.

It's amusing to see all the tirades about Manchin from the progressive left in Washington. Drunk on their imagined power, they are now being forced to have what the alcoholics call a moment of clarity.

It's rather difficult to believe, however, that Manchin was negotiating in good faith with, not the progressives of the Democratic Party, but rather with President Biden and the moderates.

With friends like Joe Manchin ...

Is it OK to point out that Fox News is a criminal enterprise?

I think until there is a conviction they can only be called an allegedly criminal enterprise.

Maybe an almost certainly criminal enterprise.

The Republican Party just declared the murderous and seditious mayhem on 1/6 “legitimate political discourse”. May they all rot in hell!

Marjorie Taylor Greene roasted for 'gazpacho police' remark

Social media erupted in soup jokes on Wednesday after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) of having "gazpacho police" spy on lawmakers and their staffs.

The remark was an apparent reference to the Gestapo, the Nazi secret police, but the far-right rep instead named the chilled vegetable soup popular in Spain and Portugal.

She had a pretty good comeback:
Greene appeared to address the controversy on Wednesday night when she tweeted, "No soup for those who illegally spy on Members of Congress, but they will be thrown in the goulash."

Greene is low-life scum of an order rarely seen even among republicans. The fact that she is as dumb as a breadbox is neither here nor there.

I have a very longstanding banking relationship with Chase (more recently, JP Morgan Chase), but if they don’t get with the program, I may feel compelled to switch to Citi. They are now being pilloried by bleading head Republican politicians for their thoughtful and generous new policy of covering necessary travel and related expenses for employees who live in states that have prohibited abortions. Maybe having a woman running a big bank isn’t such a bad idea after all.

So, it has come to this. My view is that the notion of “right to life” should not extend to any republican politician, including the ones on the Supreme Court. Period. Full stop. Second amendment all the way!

Why are you so bloodthirsty about unborn children? Can't you afford less helpless enmies?
