You could paraphrase Tolstoy (the TL;DR writer) on this occasion.

The Brexiteers I know don’t care a fig about empires and powers. They just want to be left alone to survive or fall, but on their own terms.
Probably a small sample space.

Major pro-Brexit group moves website office to Ireland

That is treason.

Not much Brexit news around. Are you still ok, Europe?

Good: BoE Governor says far fewer City jobs have moved than “expected.” (I think it was more “propaganda” than carefully thought-out “expectations.” So I’ll forgive his stupidity and put it down to simple lying.)

Bad: Confiscation of ham sandwiches by the Dutch.

Swings and roundabouts? Not exactly!

It's misty in the Channel.
NI on the verge of starvation.
Apart from that, not much to report.

I'm feeling a bit peckish myself. One in four adults in NI are "obese," i.e. BMI over 30. Seems like there's plenty to go around, but at the moment it's around 25% of waists.

Evolution of meaning/devaluation: What comes after "starvation"? thesaurus.com only really has dying, malnourished and undernourished.

In the 60s we used to go to Newry from Dundalk to buy stuff like butter, Rowntrees fruit gums etc.

One in four adults in NI are "obese,"
Wow, half the UK average.
And we got BBC/ITV for free very close to 'border'. Which made us very outward looking.

EU consumer rights no longer guaranteed when buying UK product. Caveat emptor.

Paul,
Did you know there are 150 kind of fishes in the North Sea? ==> 150 contracts => more staff ==>  more delays ==> higher prices.

Agreement on tonguefish has gone a bit flat.

I wouldn't know, I never go to Starbucks.
It's only about 10 years ago they told me that latte was a kind of coffee; I once bought my publisher a glass of milk in that Random Runners hotel (remember?) opposite Tower. I thought she was just trying to be posh.

Like the restaurants here: you can sell anything if you give it a nice French name. Norsk sjølaks.

Jacob Rees-Mogg claims fish captured after Brexit deal came into effect were 'British and happier for it'

Hear, hear!

"Scottish seafood exporters are losing upwards of £1 million a day. Seafood Scotland says all the extra red tape is an 'almost impossible task', it's even forced ferry operators to pause load deliveries to the continent."

I assume professional athletes, coaches, etc. fall in the same category as performers, but does anybody happen to know the answer?

Probably not; it's a mess.
They don't teach that on playing fields of Eton.
