Good news: Evolution of antibody immunity to SARS-CoV-2

In short, the remnants of the virus DNA persist all over our body tissues for a very long time, thanks to which our immune system has time to work out efficient defences.

I didn't know my avatar would be this relevant when I made it.  I'm holding out for the J&J vaccine which uses andenovector vs mRNA tech.  If we don't get a choice I will take whatever is available as soon as it's available for my group.
What I see on TV is that the needle goes all the way in and those administering have the same smirk as your avatar.

Is there a market for 'vaccine swaptions'?

Could you first define a vaccine swap?

A real option?

Depending on the term sheet specs and it being cash settled, I might be willing to go along with that. :D

Vaccines .. it's big business

South Africa and India are leading the more than 100 countries looking for the WTO waiver, but it is being opposed by wealthier countries including the EU, Switzerland and the United States, all WTO members with significant pharmaceutical industries.

Opportunity for Sputnik-V and China vaccine.

Brits planning their summer holidays aren’t going to have to worry about Germans getting all the sunloungers this year.

And now Verhofstadt criticizing EU bureaucracy. Where has he been all this time? He must be exceptionally dim.

It’s now official, Kool Aid does not prevent COVID.

OK, you saw it here first! I’m going to totally step out of character and say something nice about Trump. At the CPAC (a vermin infested bunch of... - wait, I’m trying to say something nice), he encouraged his followers to get vaccinated. That may be the most useful thing he has ever said. Achieving herd immunity is going to be hard enough without tens of millions of people believing that their supreme leader has dismissed the Kung Flu as something to best be ignored.

Warning: Gratuitous EU/WWII/vaccine jokes coming up. Those of a sensitive disposition, etc.

https://www.irishtimes.com/business/hea ... 5?mode=amp

EU lets Italy block vaccine export to Australia. Really shot themselves in the foot. Should have put Germans in charge, at least they shoot people in the back.

(Sorry, couldn't resist old joke.) Seen on eBay: “French WWII rifle. Excellent condition. Never fired. Dropped once.”

You can open your eyes now, Morag!!!

You can't be good at everything, I suppose.

Let's just wait for Спутник V.

The NY Times got with my program today. Their lead editorial called for Trump to be named vaccine ambassador. It was a slightly left handed compliment, since it was partially motivated by his total uselessness for other purposes, but still! They even suggested it might earn him that Nobel prize he so craves.
