Anecdotal, but pretty good piece from the NY Times on what led many vaccine skeptics to take the shots

Separately, 50 fully-vaccinated Democratic Texas legislators took a bus trip to Washington for reasons that don't matter for my comment. Now 5 have contracted Covid. Seems a surprisingly high number to me. Of course, we are missing the control group of 50 unvaccinated legislators taking the same bus trip. I suspect the market is tanking today on this kind of thing.

Pretty good:
Nature: The COVID lab-leak hypothesis: what scientists do and don’t know

Includes a link to a detailed Twitter response by K. Andersen:

Twitter: Kristian Andersen on Baltimore's comment

The tweets are in response to David Baltimore's "smoking gun" comment to N. Wade, that he (Baltimore) has now revised

Since the Chinese are refusing to cooperate in any detailed follow-up, and SARS-CoV-2 has yet to be found in any animal, the origin of the virus may never be resolved beyond "Wuhan".

Norway (the kind norse men) are kidney donating vaccines to nations in need...

"I am glad that these vaccines are useful and that Norway can help Kosovo vaccinate its population faster,” Minister of Health and Care Services Bent Høie (H) noted in a press release. "

well he forgot to mention it was AstraZeneca vaccine that got forbidden for any use in Norway due to likely considerably increased risk of blood cloth that was given so kindly away. (demolition costs saved )

Norway donates almost 183,000 AstraZeneca corona vaccines to Kosovo
https://norwaytoday.info/news/norway-donates-almost-183000-astrazeneca-corona-vaccines-to-kosovo/

"Norway started using the AstraZeneca vaccine on February 7, before suspending its use on March 11 due to cases of severe blood clots. "

(same week we are getting shipment of other type vaccine from Eastern Europe, who knows they could even have found the way up from kosovo, how do you price a swap?)

In politicians we always trust, they are not only thinking about the best for their own population, but always about the best for the world!

one day u will know, it is a national secret! ...but then we will be one nation and one big family, so don't worry! (the tree that rules them all)

The British are dissatisfied with the Norwegian Christmas tree calling it “sparse” and “anemic.” (spoilt)

;-(

Compulsory workplace vaccination rules cannot apply to vegans

"More than half a million vegans will be exempt if companies introduce compulsory vaccination rules in Britain because their beliefs are protected by employment law, legal experts have said."

I’d be comfortable with that as long as said sworn vegans are proscribed from any medical treatment that may harm viruses or bacteria in their bodies.

Some positive developments in my neighborhood. Employees and customers will be required to show proof of vaccination for entry to indoor restaurants, gyms and “entertainment venues”.
